Not correct. With CNC10 v2.30, you can set up the Linux system to read a Windows shared folder. You could then stand at the control and read files from the Windows computer.The ethernet comment was an attempt to transfer files without usb, but from the bulletin even if I find a computer running windows xp, the version number is too old to use networking; correct?
You would need CNC10 2.61 or later to have the Linux system share folders with the Windows system, so that you could sit at the Windows computer and read files from the control.
"Active Directory" is something else entirely, and is probably not relevant to your situation.
