I have a DC3IOB MPU11 with Centroid software and when I tried to fire up the machine Monday the LED 1, 3.3V, DF LED, and PLC OK LED are not on. I have tried another power supply and it will not work. I have checked the 3.3V wires coming out of both the original and my spare power supply and they are putting out 3.7 volts. What should I check? I tried sending an e mail Monday but have not had a response so maybe this will work.
Thank you
Brent Lidgard

Re: DC3IOB Problems. 3.3v led out
Scott,
Thank you for the fast turn around, I got the DC3IOB back today and when I installed it the 3.3V light and all the other green led's that should be on are, but the display shows 1 indicating power failure. The power supply has the 120 volts going to it, and I checked the grey wire and it has 5.17v. What should I check now?

Re: DC3IOB Problems. 3.3v led out
Is it showing a steady "1", or is it flashing "1" with the decimal point lit?
If it is a steady one, that is the no-error indication (telling you that the DC3IO's first axis is axis #1 on the drive bus).
If it is flashing and the decimal point is lit, then you (still) have a logic power problem of some sort.

Re: DC3IOB Problems. 3.3v led out
It was not flashing, and I did find the problem. The settings changed themselves in Windows 7 and I had to reconfigure the ethernet port. It somehow quit communicating with the MPU11. Thank you for the help!
