**RESOLVED** # of axis Ajax can support?

Anyone out there know how many axis the ajax hardware can in closed loop? A while back I spoke to someone at ajax and they said the DC3I0 could be daisy chained to control up to 6 anyone try this? It would be a cheap system for 6 drives and a control card

Also is it possible to run an axis as both and axis and a spindle? Ex I'm wanting to build a 4th axis for light machining and indexing and also have it double as a lathe spindle powered by a large servo motor.

Currently the DC systems (systems with ajax servo drives) can be expanded to support up to 6 axes, 3rd party systems (GPIO4D based) can be expanded up to 8 axes.
