Hello,
We are still moving through our setup testing on the Allin1dc on a Bridgeport Mill using the install manual. I do not see any tests that can be made on our connected (wired) MPG panel. I have read in the install manual so far that the MPG is program driven, but unless I missed something (which happens) I don't see any other reference to it. I am wondering if someone can inform me further to help me understand this.
Thanks
Joe

Assuming your MPG is connected through the standard MPG header on the All-in-one DC, the only setup is to set Parameter 348 to 15; verify Parameters 349 and 350 (usually 100 and 400 respectively); then try using the MPG:
1) Release emergency stop
2) Turn the axis select knob to "X"
3) Verify that the MPG LED on the jog panel (if you have one) turns on
4) Turn the increment select knob to "x10"
5) Verify that the x10 increment LED on the jog panel (if you have one) turns on
6) Turn the handwheel forward and back, and see if the axis moves.
7) Try different increments.
8) Try the remaining axes.

Re: Wired MPG testing on startup of Allin1DC
Thanks, I have verified the settings that you suggest and they are as you state. The MPG is set up exactly as the wiring diagram too. Seems that I am not able to power that 5v output.. In any case we are moving past this to finish the "install" instructions, and will then move back to it. I did just upload a report on my post for the Parameter 170 question. If you have time to look at and if anything jumps out at you, please let me know.
Thanks again
Thanks again

Which 5V output is that?Seems that I am not able to power that 5v output.
Do your MPG inputs work, when you view them on the Alt-i PLC Diagnostic display? Page right with F12 nine times to get to the page which includes INP773 - INP783.

Did you buy a factory wired MPG and it's connector harness or did you try to get and wire your own? Could you take pictures of your setup and post?Joe wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 11:12 pm Thanks, I have verified the settings that you suggest and they are as you state.
