One Axis only

Hi,
I have configured the X and Y drives and can get each one working properly one at a time on AXIS 1 on the Oak Controller. When I try to get x and y axis going on AXIS1 and AXIS2 i receive an x axis fault. I have attached a report. There is an Opticdirect board hooked up to the Oak with nothing hooked up to it. I am trying to get the X and Y stages running and setup with limit switches before I hookup the Z,A and B axis. Any help is much appreciated.

Does this configuration look right? Is the Opticdirect board configured to be the 5th axis?

Those parameter settings look right. The OpticDirect becomes drive #1, and the Oak drive interface headers become drives #2 - #5. The OpticDirect encoder input, as the first DriveBus device, is encoder #7. The encoder inputs on the Oak headers remain #1 - #4.
The PLC logic has to account for the changed drive numbers when it checks for drive faults. Your PLC program appears to have the updated code which accesses drive status based on letter labels instead of fixed numbers, so it seems like it should work correctly. However, you could use the Alt-i display or PLC Detective to look at MEM61-MEM69, MEM515, MEM531, and the PLC code on lines 2976-3014 to see if something does not match up when you have the X and Y drives connected and ready to run.

Please see attached. Is oak looking for a drive ok signal from drive?

Hi,
I have X and Y axis working and have hooked up Z and A axis. I did disconnect the Optic Direct board and re mapped the drives in an effort to get Z and A axis moving via Oak. Feed back is working fine for A and Z and shows on the screen correctly distance and direction. I can move the A and Z axis via servo drive software. The software shows no command voltage coming from Oak for A and Z. I have attached a report. Thanks.

I don't immediately see anything wrong with the configuration.
What happens when you plug your X or Y interface cables into the Z or A servo drives?

Same thing 410 error on both x (1) and y (2) plugged into a and z drives.

In that case, you probably do not have the drives configured correctly for analog velocity-mode control.

I now can not get an enable signal out of axis 1 (X). I have swapped cables and drives to verify.

Hi,
After another attempt of trouble shooting still cannot get an enable signal out of axis 1 out of the oak controller. When I swap the X and Y cables to the motor drives, both do not enable on axis 1 but both motor drives enable on axis 2. I am thinking there is an issue with the Oak controller. Is there a check that I can perform? I can set home and go to MDI screen with out faults. I can jog axis 2 with both motor/drives but when i jog axis 1 with both motor/drives I get 410 X axis(1) position error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a report. Please let me know if there is any more information I can provide.
