startup fail <resolved>

Post by WeirdEngineering »

I have a Lagun mill with All in one DC, NUC PC and CNC12. This setup is less than l year old. It started up with no issue a week ago. Today it will not start.
The monitor comes on and the NUC start screen appears. It then either goes to a blank screen with a notice that there is no HDMI feed or a page that advises that Windows 11 is not working correctly. There are several options for diagnosis and repair. None of them have worked. Is there a battery somewhere that ran down?

I followed the Intel troubleshooting guide for the NUC and it seems to be a bad HDMI port. Switching the cable to a different port appears to have solved the problem.
