Update CNC11 to CNC12
Recently a Trak bed mill, that had been converted to Centroid in 2013, was donated to our makerspace. It currently is running CNC11-D Mill v3.12. Can we upgrade it to CNC12? We are currently running CNC12 on our Centroid powered CNC router.

Re: Update CNC11 to CNC12
Yes, based on the report it is running the Standard PLC program so no changes would be needed. You can update to CNC12 4.14 with just a free software update. Upgrading to the latest CNC12 4.22 would require a Legacy Software Upgrade ($299). This would get you to the Mill Pro level which would also add many new options not currently unlocked on the current setup. You could also upgrade to the latest version CNC12 4.22 and run the Free version but you would not be able to use the probing cycles you currently have until it was upgraded to Pro.
You can download both versions of on the page below (scroll down until you see the ALLLIN1DC / Oak software section for 4.22), and even further down to Legacy for the 4.14 version)
