Ether1616 Not Recognized

Post by martyscncgarage »

If you have connected your Ether1616 properly:
1: Connect the CNCPC's PHYSICAL ethernet port to the ethernet switch
2: Connect Acorn and Ether1616 to the switch using the Centroid supplied shielded Ethernet cables and power supplies.
3: Start CNC12, you should get a message that an Ether1616 was detected:

If you don't, but you can ping the IP address: 10.168.41.3

IPv6 should be disabled for the on board Ethernet adapter.
This sometime causes problems with ETH1616 detection.
