Do you advise installing this even if the machine is working properly and isn't connected to the internet? Just curious if I need this or not since everything is working great as is.

Thanks,
Dan

Can't check for updates if not connected to the internet....better way to go. Then you can pick and choose when you want to run updates in my opinion.

Ok cool, that's what I figured but I just wanted to make sure. I don't do auto updates and I keep my WiFi turned off on my CNCPC. If I use the internet on my CNCPC which is a rare case, I only use it with the Acorn turned off and with the cable disconnected. I've tried using it with the board powered up and it doesn't work anyway. I think it trips out my computer since it thinks it's connected through the cable and the WiFi so it switches back and forth and nothing wants to load. If I disconnect the Acorn then the WIFI works. Very strange but not a big deal since the CNCPC is only used to control the router and nothing else anyway. Any files are just uploaded to my cut folder via a flash drive. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the Centroid Acorn, it works exactly how it should and works flawlessly.

Thanks again for all your help Marty getting me up and running.
