How would I make the z retract higher to make that move? Hopefully that question makes sense
On my machine it's done in the V-carve file. I originally had mine set to 2" and bumped it up to 6", I'm pretty sure that you need to set the height in your Cam software.

What are you using for CAM?

In Vectric Aspire this is achieved with a couple of settings.

I had the same thing happen when I first used the macro and vectric. When it dropped down and did a rapid about a half inch above one of my clamps it made me pucker up if you know what I mean. I realized real quick that the 2 inch default I had needed to be changed. I guess it's all part of the learning curve when we first start off.

Has anyone had a chance to test these custom macros under v4.16 or v4.18?
I always wait a few days after the initial release of a new version to see what, if any, gotchas might have slipped through. And now we are at v4.18.
Thanks for any feedback.

I'm using Clint's modified M6 version that I modified a bit more and it's working great with 4.18. Thanks again Clint for all your help.

Hoping someone can help me out. I have been using Clint's M6 file for the moveable touchplate that came on the machine. I have it set up on Input 6 as probe tripped and it works perfectly. I wanted to add a fixed location touch plate to go along with it. I'm not exactly sure how I should wire it up. It is the UCONTRO Universal CNC Wireless Tool Setting Gauge Z Axis Height Setter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY ... UTF8&psc=1. It has 4 wires, 5-24v, com, ov and probe. Where does the ov wire connect? What should I select for the input type on the fixed location?
