S15200 schematic question

Post by Ironwoodwerx »

On centroid wiring schematic #S15200, what do the rectangular boxes with designators F1, F2, & F3 refer to? At first I assumed in line fuses but I was under the impression you don’t put a fuse on a neutral line…? Thank you for your help.

Yes, those represent fuses.

Reading the title block, I would guess that schematic is supposed to be generic for either 120VAC or 240VAC single-phase service.

If you are using 120VAC, then you are correct that you would omit F2.
