I have for sale a recently upgraded SB RBK control box. It reuses the Torroid DC power supply, Oriental drives and door switch. All other components are new. Control board is a Centroid Acorn 4. Comes complete with Lenovo M93 (Win10Pro, 8gb RAM, SSD), Centroid Pro Router License and setup to your system. Here is a list of the upgrades over the decade old OEM specs:

Full backplane vs partial on the OEM
Cooling fans added
Replaced "daisy chain" grounds with single point
Single power source (240AC #Amps for spindle, 110vac for router)
Added shielded stepper data cables, increased step resolution
Upgraded 24vdc power supply
Upgraded VFD contactor
VFD speed & logic harness
Fuses replaced with circuit breakers
8 inputs, 8 outputs with relays (7 with laser)
Spindle speed and logic control
JTech (type) PWM laser support
Independent dual axis autosquare support
Added "User Connection Terminals" for simplified accessory wiring
3 layer "sensor" terminals for prox homing sensors & Z (tool) setter
Translated SB user friendly macros
Centroid Wireless MPG support

NOTES: Some features listed above are extra cost. System has been tested at ~3666 steps/inch @ 1000 ipm (no load) YMMV depending on age & condition of your machine.

We no longer accept trades or exchange. As an alternative, you can send in your RBK box and have it upgraded for $1800 plus shipping. Usual turnaround on BYOB is 2-3 weeks.

If you need motors, or simply would like to upgrade an older machine to newer motors, we have a set of 4 late model PRS standard motors. Model # A7328-9412KTG These are 2 amp motors with 12mm keyed shaft that require SB pinions part# 000981 (20T) for best performance. We can also custom cut shielded motor wires if you need them.

Our swapover to servo controllers is virtually complete. This RBK model is the last stepper based controller in the shop, and I'm dropping the price to make room for other systems.
