Techno LC4896 upgrade

I am an Instructor at Northshore technical Community College. We have come across a Techno 4896 that used an old operating system that consisted of a PCI card, Windows xp with a SCSI cable to run this cnc. The system is no longer with the machine and i was wondering if anyone tried to upgrade using the Acorn CNC controller. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
