Table mounted (removable) 40 taper tool tightening fixture included
Some features of the machine include:
• Oversized column, knee and saddle for added rigidity
• Meehanite cast iron hardened and ground box ways
• Class 7 spindle bearings
• One shot lube
• Honed head and quill
• Precision hardened and ground class – 5 ballscrews
• Main spindle of machine 50 – 5000 RPM
• Included optional spindle with speed control of 5000 – 25,000 RPM
• Optional spindle mounts in the CAT 40 main spindle and utilizes ER20 type collets
Some features of the cnc system and control:
• Fully supported by Centroid corp. in Howard PA
• Solid state hard drive
• 2 USB ports
• LAN port (configured to work with Windows 10 and a cable included)
• Control powers up and operates on 120 VAC
• Spindle power is separate 3 phase that is easily disconnected to avoid turning on when optional spindle is in use.
• Software unlocks for intercon conversational programing and additional work offsets
• 4 gb maximum program size standard
