Good evening all,
On my list of things to do is build a control for a single axis drilling machine. (Basically just the Z axis on a lathe).
I believe the intended path forward is to use a Centroid acorn. I've done an oak retrofit several years ago, but not an acorn and i've not really made the time to get to this side of the project. I wondered if anyone would be interested quoting it.
Looking for:
- Vevor enclosure.
- 5hp VFD (automation direct GS series) Spindle motor
- 5hp VFD (automation direct GS series) High pressure coolant pump motor
- Yaskawa Sigma II servo drive (Already have drive and motor
- All I/O to be routed to a DIN rail terminal block so I can run wiring from the machine through a bulkhead connector and wire each item into the terminal rail.
No doubt I'm missing a number of additional needs for the control box, but I'd expect to talk through a component purchase plan and leave much of the rest up to the builder.
So looking for someone pretty comfortable with the project scope who has done a number of these. Figured I'd at least toss it out there. Sometimes a match isn't that hard to find.
Thanks again.
