In search of molex crimpers

Post by JPobstm »

Hi everybody, I’m new here. I’m working on building my first cnc plasma with acorn and need a set of molex 63811-7200 crimpers.. I figured I’d post here to see if anyone had any for sell before I spent 425 on the ones I found on eBay.

Just out of curiosity, which connectors would those be for?

You dont need Molex brand crimpers unless you have money to burn. :D I make all my own Clearpath cables with a generic pair of "Molex" crimpers I bought off Amazon for $18. I do crimp the jacket and wire separately as opposed to all at once like the Molex crimper but the end result is exactly the same. I've made dozens of cable for myself and customers.

I think the iWiss/iCrimp IWS-2412M might work for these. There don't seem to be any non-official sabre specific crimpers but these seem to be in the right range to do them. Should be at the price Shawn mentioned and this brand is said to be pretty good.

Thank you both very much! I will take the advice and get the Amazon crimpers.

There's even a Chinese clone of the double jaw Molex crimpers for 22-30AWG for $24. :o

At this price you could buy 17 pairs of them for the same price as ONE Molex crimper and have a few backups if one breaks.

Just sayin' :D
