Quick Tip: Bench testing Acorn's Spindle Analog Output

Post by martyscncgarage »

I made this video so that users can test their Acorn Spindle Analog Output as part of the Benchtest. This ensures that the output is functional before wiring up the spindle drive to it.

REMEMBER, ACORN SUPPLIES THE 0-10VDC. DO NOT CONNECT VOLTAGE FROM THE DRIVE TO ACORN'S SPINDLE ANALOG OUTPUT and DO NOT USE ACORN IN PLACE OF A POTENTIOMETER or you will likely damage it. :? (Expensive lesson to learn)
