I need to connect a cycle start and feed hold button to my cnc lathe.
Do i just connect a momentary push to make button to one of the inputs on the Acorn board?
Where does the other side of the switch connect?

Re: Connecting a cycle start and feed hold button.
One side of the button to Acorn input, the other end to 24VDC common. Then in the Wizard assign CycleStart2 and FeedHold2 to the inputs that you wired your buttons to.

Re: Connecting a cycle start and feed hold button.
Hello Philip,
Affirmative! You can just connect one terminal of the switch to any available ACORN input and then the other terminal to your 24V power supply common/GND.
After that, just assign the input correctly in the Wizard and you are good to go.
