SSD for Acorn Six and CNC12

Post by jeffmaxwell »

Is a Western Digital SSD acceptable for use with Acorn Six and CNC12? I see that Centroid only recommends Intel and Samsung SSD.
I have a HP computer with i5 quad core and 8 gigs of ram and a new Western Digital SSD that i want to use with CNC12 and Acorn.
Thanks

WD SSDs are more than good enough. The recommendation is more to NOT buy the $5.99 special from Alibaba.

It doesn't matter what brand it is as long as it's an SSD, they are WAYYYY faster than the old school HDD. You can even use the old school HDD it's just not recommended.
