I assume you mean instantaneous peak torque.cnckeith wrote:torque should be in the 1000-1200 oz-in in range
Those numbers translate to 62.5 - 75.0 in-lb, which is 2-3x the continuous stall torque that a knee mill with 10 revs/inch typically needs.

when we put steppers on machines like this with the CNC4 they were rated as 1350 oz-in max t motors and had a nema 42 frame
is this machine 10 TPI?

I think these sdsk clearpath motors will probably be my best choice as far as being the closest to the baldor motors that it has in it.
