Hello,
Did a fresh install today of 5.08
Everything is setup and seems to be working fine except for an issue that I discovered.
I setup my ATC through the wizard, however I have to edit the Mfunc6 macro to include an M66 and M62 at the beginning of the tool change and an M86 and M82 toward the end of the macro for a sliding rack and auto raising dust shoe.
It all works but when I set the wizard to "yes" under using a custom m6 macro it reverts back to "no" and therefore gets rid of my additions.
I also noticed that in the ATC wizard the Z height flyover value does not stay, it goes back to zero. The setting does remain set in the control though.
Another thing I just noticed, slow/fast jog button on VCP does not work.

Re: CNC12 v5.08 ATC wizard issue
Hello AVP,
1. Try setting the Custom M6 macro in use setting under the CNC Control Preferences page instead of the ATC Menu. Or the ATC Menu one, which ever one you have not been trying before.
2. It appears the wizard is writing the value of the Z height flyover properly, but not reading it back in properly. This should be corrected in future revisions of the software. For now, just input the correct Z height flyover into the field before writing the settings, it should perform it correctly. The wizard just will not "remember" it correctly for the time being. If you want to verify it, it gets written to the G30 Z Return position, which can be found under Setup (F1) > Part (F1) > WCS Table (F9) > Return (F1), and will be the Return #2 column Z axis row.

Re: CNC12 v5.08 ATC wizard issue
Hello Chris,
So setting it under the CNC control preferences page seems to work. It stays as yes in the ATC page to doing it that way.
What about the slow/fast jog button not working? When I press it, I get no led on the button, yet in the message area it says slow jog selected but it stays in fast jog mode.
Thank you for all your help.
Bill

MPG overrides the VCP. turn the WMPG knob to OFF to use the fast slow buttons on the VCP

Re: CNC12 v5.08 ATC wizard issue
ok good to know .
in the Wizard switch VCP start up state to Slow Continuous and then it works.
its an annoyance bug that has been fixed in the v5.09 beta that we are testing now. can't believe it got by all the v5.08 beta testing.
