Hey folks,
I have a strange problem on our both lathes with Acorn and Durapulse GS3 VFD's. Because of different voltages for Acorn and VFD both lathes have separate power lines and power switches for both Durapulse and Acorn (did not want to use an internal step down xformer for Acorn). If at the end of the day I turn off the Acorn and forget to turn off the VFD the Acorn with the next power on will not communicate with Centroid and there will be no heartbeat. If I turn off and then back on the VFD, or disconnect H10 header then it will communicate as it should. Is it normal?
Thanks, M

nope that is not normal.
to help you we would need a link to a photo album with lots of photos of the CNC controller cabinet that you built and photos of the machine.
here is how. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1043
a sketch of how you have the power wired would help too.
