constant fault after update to 5.08 <resolved, wizard not configured properly>
Hey Guys I am using Clearpath Servos and running the new CNC 12 v5.08x64.
After the update today I walked through the wizard and put all my settings back to what I had in the old version 4.
I am unable to clear the faults now and I am getting no drive enable bit from the servo board.
Also getting a constant spindle fault.
Anyone have something I can try??
let me know if I need to include more info

open the wizard press CTRL P and save the PDF, post it here.
sounds like you don't have the Wizard configured
how did you 'update' to v5.08?

Re: constant fault after update to 5.08
I just downloaded it from the centroid site and followed the instructions.
I also ran the PC tool before I did the install. I don't think anything was changed.
I will get that PDF tomorrow.
I was able to rename the new folder and the backup to recover use of the machine at least for now.
Runs fine on the 4.6 version of CNC12.

Re: constant fault after update to 5.08
sounds like the Wizard was not configured properly for those inputs that you were having issue with.
post a report.zip from the working v4.6 and a report.zip from you v5.08 install. it would be simple to see the differences then between the two setups.

Re: constant fault after update to 5.08
Do the same pdf print of your settings from version 5.06 to compare.

Re: constant fault after update to 5.08
Thanks. I will make the changes.
Unrelated question but is there a development environment available for CNC12?
Something to use for testing without being physically connected to the hardware?
