EMCO 155 Lathe

Post by mp25 »

Hi all,

first time on here, but recently had my ECMO PC 155 lathe controller die on me. I love the machine mainly for its live tooling capabilities and the overall size. I see a lot of people have success with the Acorn on the smaller EMCOs but am wondering if I can run the live tooling through the Acorn or if am i going to need to go with a Hickory? I didn't see mention of c-axis or live tool support on the Acorn lathe license. Sorry if this is something that has been beaten to death already

Thanks,

C-Axis is no problem with Acorn.

Live tooling on/off can be done with Acorn too, second spindle output is on Acorn6, be we are still waiting for software update to control it individually.
