Hi , as acorn don't use the servo motor as servo ,
I want to understand what is the relation between step dir in cnc12 and the electronic gear in the servo drive ?
Playing with the electronic gear would it change the motor beaviours when it time to do fine detail ?
And the pulse amount 100 000 or 400 000 or else would change the beaviours of the aka servo motor ?
Thanks

Re: step and dir vs electronic gear
No reason to play with electronic gearing in the driver for Acorn.

Re: step and dir vs electronic gear
If you have a 5mm spindle and 2:1 gear reduction, dial in 2.5mm per Rev in the Wizard, thats all.
