I am running Legacy and the corresponding schematic doesn't seem to mention a TT port. Did I miss it?

please see the Tool Touch Off schematic i attached (S14822) in my previous post. and connect the tool touch off device as shown. Probe trigger connects to input 7 (and if you are using it probe detect connects to input 6 and set accordingly with wizard.) and then use the wizard to set input 7 to "Probe Tripped" and press write to cnc control configuration as shown in previous post and you will be good to go. updated legacy schematic attached as well.

Thanks for the great explanation Keith!
I noted probe input detect is such a simple circuit. It just closes the circuit at the probe done by a "stereo" jack. When the input jack is pushed into the probe a circuit closes and tells the control a probe is being used and NOT to let the spindle turn on (if controlled by Acorn) A simple and excellent safety feature and should be used. (Beevo, your probe wouldn't have gone flying ;) )
