Yes, the Centroid wireless MPG: CWP-4 doees require CNC12 V4.12 or higher Mill or Lathe Pro (or Mill Dig bundle) License.

Free remote control alternatives are
Xkeys pad
Xbox controller
Contour ShuttleXpress
and other USB keyboard emulators.

This has been asked before but how far down the list is the wired version of CPW-4

No plans for a wired pendant at the moment. The cwp-4 wireless mpg works so well and price is not much more than the wired version...so there is no advantage of going with a wired version.

If you really want a wired mpg-like control for cheap.. i recommend the Contour Shuttle Xpress which is supported in the upcoming release.

I'm working on a wireless mpg video so you all can see it in action! I'll never go back to tripping over wires!

Hello,

If you have a PHB04B mpg, will it work directly with centroid even though it is not the centroid version of the mpg, or is there something that you need to do for it to work, like updating firmware.

Thanks
Lorenzo

It will not work with the Centroid System. The WMPG-4 is made specifically for Centroid with specific firmware. The Centroid software is written specifically for the WMPG-4.
