It depends on the way how you measure the tool length.

Use the reference tool method or the Z-fixed method.

I noticed that the H value does not move Example I had tool 1 so T1 H1 I call tool 2 I measure it automatically (because I am in pliers no automatic tool charger) Once measured the screen indicates T2 H1 when I should have T2 H2 Normally, once measured, the CNC must know where it is by deduction from the program origin in Z
J'ai remarqué que la valeur H ne bouge pas
Exemple j'avais l'outil 1 donc T1 H1

T2 M6 changes the tool
G43 H2 changes the tool offset and diameter

so after T2 M6 and G43 H2 the screen will show T2 H2

not if you maintain a tool library.
the old mill training instruction video shows this.

and if not using fixed tool holders you can do this with Swissi's ProbeApp
Hope this helps

Ok thank you very much for your answer
I have another question about advances. When I lower the advance button to zero %, the advances continue to advance.
Is it possible to have no movement at zero %?

Ok merci beaucoup pour votre réponse
