I recently purchased an Acer UT222Q at Micro Center for $249. At 22" its a little larger than I really wanted for my little bench top mill but I can live with it. I connected it via Display Port and could not get the touch screen functionality to work. I've since learned you need the USB connection also. I guess that makes sense in that the Display Port likely just sends data out, not in. The documentation from Acer is really lacking. All in all I'm very happy with it, but I'm only in bench test mode so far.

Just FYI, the Viewsonic TD2210 will be back in stock hopefully by the end of November so I am told by Viewsonic. It has not been discontinued. Victim of the chip shortages.

I recently bought a Hanspree touchscreen. Very nice, works fine.

I'm actually using it with LinuxCNC but it would work nicely with Windows / CNC12. It uses a capacitive touch system - the Viewsonic seems to use the IR (light) system which I found to be easily upset by direct sunlight and dust. In the end I disabled the IR touch feature and now just use CNC12 with a mouse. Personally, I'd recommend either capacitive or resistive, not IR.

That looks like a clone of the Planar Helium PCT2235, or vice versa. I got mine in 08/10/2020 for $180, now it's $306!

One of my favorites. Because it uses resistive technology, better than capacitive, its also a low end commercial Touchscreen.
Refurbs have been good:

Marty - the Viewsonic touchscreens I'm seeing currently seem to be based on IR sensors. Do they still make the resistive ones you refer to? I couldn't see any.

The link I posted from Amazon (US) are the resistive monitors. They still make them, they had a chip shortage that was affecting supply. They had hoped to have them back in stock at some of their resellers by now. (I spoke with their sales team) I thought it was discontinue so I reached out.

TD2210 is a good monitor. Gary turned me on to it some time ago.
