MPG (Hand Controller)- Not Working

Post by JerryLouisMartin »

MY Hand controller wireless keeps failing. Have rebooted, both computer and lathe..

It will work for a few minutes at most and then goes dead. Will show the last x and z but will not move.

Sometimes it gives me a complete blank screen.

I switched it out with my other CNC and it failed their too?

Repairable ?

don't use rechargeable batteries, use good old fashion duracells.

Ok, I used new Duracells and tested before installing!

I’m at a loss as it still does not work!

I flipped it to another machine and it will not work!

describe the exact action (of lack of) you are seeing. "does not work" doesn't give us much information to provide you with help and guidance. :(

Hand Controller, says Lost RF then goes to blank screen like the picture I Posted and pulses between the two.

Software states it is enabled but not found.

I put new Duracells, and it does the same.

Tried it on my other CNC and I have the same issue. Swapped controller and no issue with the other one.

Anybody have any ideas on how to get it working or is it junk?

To old for warranty? On a board they will give a good deal if yours dies. Maybe they will at least help you some if you contact them.

no RF is the USB antenna not working.

you have another new WMPG correct? does that one work on the same PC on the same USB port?

have you tried changing USB ports and rebooting the PC? do not use a USB HUB.
does the USB port you are using work with other USB devices? are you using a laptop?
