One is sufficient if it has the voltage and amperage to drive all three motors and drives. With steppers you want to make sure you use the max voltage the drives can handle with just a little head room for counter or back EMF.

Update on the build, for the most part, the mechanical side of the machine is complete for now and I am feeling good with where its at. I have had all three axis of the physical machine moving and have been fine tuning Overall Turns Ratio and Backlash compensation. Now, I have been working on final/more permanent wiring solutions with connecting the VFD and spindle and limit/home switches. Here are where my questions come.

Materials that I am using:

- Acorn CNC with Relay Board and DB25 Breakout Board

- Automation Direct DURApulse GS23-25PO VFD

- Automation Direct AEM2G1601Z11M Limit Switches
https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/sh ... 2g1601z11m

- M12 axial female to pigtail cables for limit switches
https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/sh ... 41-2150500

- Stepper Online NEMA34 Closed Loop Stepper Kit
https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/ts-se ... lts120-v41

I am working off of Centroid schematics ID S15207 and S15203

Starting with the limit switches, I want to use them as Home All with all of them wired as N.C. They have 5 leads on the cable with 2 being for N.O., 2 for N.C. and ground. Do I just connect the 2 for N.C. and the ground? It says to wire them in series and it shows them being connected to the H9 COM on the Acorn that is tied in with the ALM- of the stepper drivers and the E-Stop on the H1 IN5 of the Acorn. How do I go about connecting all of these together?

Along with this, the schematic shows the R1 terminal on the VFD (SpindleOK) being connected to the same H1 IN5 on the Acorn. What is the best way to go about connecting all of these?

I know it is a lot of information and questions but I am hoping I provided enough information to understand what I am asking.
