Thanks,Hi, I just installed cnc12 ver 5.04 upgrade and my PRO version has reverted to FREE. What did I do wrong? I also attached a prior version report to show, I hope, it was the PRO version.

Re: upgrade reverts to free
You cant restore a report from version 4.64 to 5.04, Restoring reports is good for the same version only. It's meant to fix a corrupt install or move CNC12 to a new pc or other reasons. For a jump from 4.64 to 5.04 you need to hand key in all your parameters. This is why you are asked to take screen shots of all your settings in the wizard. This info is in the "install manual".
You then need to install the license file again.
You then need to install the license file again.

Re: upgrade reverts to free
I sent the report files to verify that I had the PRO version before the upgrade not to restore anything. My problem is it has been years since I installed a license and I don't remember how. I have looked at everything I can find and don't see an answer. I would be thankful for your help.

Re: upgrade reverts to free
You will need to re-install your Pro license after the upgrade. If you aren't able to locate it reach out to Centroid and see if they can send you the license again.

Re: upgrade reverts to free
Jim, if you installed v5.04 and then copied the setup info from screen dumps taken from v4.64, then importing the license is easy: F7 Utility -> F8 Import License. A file browser will pop up! Navigate to your old v4.64 folder (I hope you renamed it) and select a file named license.dat. Alternatively, you can recover your license file from your old v.64 report. Just unzip the report and the license.dat is right there!
