Small mill limit home both??

start off by thanking everyone here for their help thus far and entertaining my sometimes trivial questions im trying to do this right the first time and learning as i go. that being said im still on the topic of limit switches ive decided in proximity switches but how many do i "need" its a rather small machine do i need one at every end of the axis travel or just one on each all help apreciated tha ks again!

One on each axis is enough and then you can set up the travel limits in the wizard. Very easy to do with less wiring and less parts.

You can put one limit switch on each axis and go with that. You don't "need" switches on each end of the axis. Soft limits will "generally" provide what you need.
