Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Hello,
I just updated the current version of CNC12 and Probe-App. I installed all settings manually. I then loaded my spoil board file. When I pressed go I received a Error 907 Z-axis exceeded. I realized I must have missed a setting somewhere but not sure where. I have gone over all of the settings multiple times and they are the same as I had in CNC12 4.82. Do I need to change anything in the Wizard in the VCP section?
Thanks

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Sounds like you may have forgotten to import your cncm.wcs file from your old v4.82 setup when importing the cncm.ol and cncm.tl files etc. Just copy them from the old 4.82 folder you saved and overwrite the existing v5.02 files in the new c:\cncm folder.
You will need to run the same WCS number as before of course

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Thanks that corrected the z-axis issue. Now Probe-app isn't starting when a program is executed.

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Have you copied the complete ProbeApp subfolder from 4.82 to 5.02 which you need to do?
You might also need to copy mfunc6.mac, mfunc30.mac and mfunc58.mac files from v4.82 to c:\cncm in 5.02 depending on how implemented.

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
I did copy over everything form the old install of Probe-App. I don't have a ATC, so I only copied over mfunc58.mac.

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
You will also need the mfunc6.mac that is specific to the probe app. If you open it in an editor, you will see on the first line if it is the probe app version.

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
After updates I simply run the probe App installer again and choose repair.

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Both Scott and Uwe are correct.
My Mill uses ProbeApp without a modified mfunc6.mac therefore relying on Centroid's built in hardcoded M6 sequence. However, my Router (also using the Mill software not the specific Router version) does use Swissi modified mfunc6.mac as I don't have fixed toolholders on that machine.
I recall needing to do a ProbeApp repair on 1 of the 2 v5.02 installs but cannot remember whether Mill or Router

Re: Error 907 Z-axis exceeded
Thanks for all of the help. I did re-install probe-app. I copied over the cncm files, mfunc6.mac and mfunc58.mac from the previous working install. It looks like the the mfunc6.mac was not the Probe-App one.
All is working!!
Cheers!
