Intercon offline installer flagged by Norton Anti Virus
Norton identified threat as "Heur.AdvML.B" and won't let me install. Is there an older version of Intercon offline that can be downloded?
Re: Intercon offline installer flagged by Norton Anti Virus
As far as I can tell, "Heur.AdvML.B" is Norton's way of saying "we don't actually know anything about it, but some part of it smells a little like parts of some viruses".
You should be able to temporarily suspend Norton while you install the software. You might also need to make a permanent exception so that Norton will allow you to run MillDemo.exe once it is installed.
If you want to be especially cautious, use one or more other malware scanners to check it out before installing and running it. Let us know if any of them find anything more specific.
