Yeah I'll have to see how many of the old G4s are still in circulation. I think we're using G6s now whenever we buy new.
Both make great CNC pc's. Love the HP 1L machines.Jerminator96 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 8:16 am Yeah I'll have to see how many of the old G4s are still in circulation. I think we're using G6s now whenever we buy new.
good to know, is this one of the ones you have used? https://amzn.to/3MKSzKxShawnM wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 11:29 pm I use a lot of the 1L HP ProDesk 600 and EliteDesk 800 mini computers, the G3 or higher machines make great CNC pc's and they are very inexpensive to buy on eBay or CL. I love the NVMe slots for a crazy fast SSD. Plug in a wireless mouse and keyboard and you're off.
Yes, I've used both the ProDesk and the EliteDesk minis and a few with that same processor. Great computers. They also have the VESA mount built right into the case. On the bottom of the pc is 4 threaded holes to aid in mounting inside your electrical enclosure or on the back of your monitor.cnckeith wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 5:08 pmgood to know, is this one of the ones you have used? https://amzn.to/3MKSzKxShawnM wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 11:29 pm I use a lot of the 1L HP ProDesk 600 and EliteDesk 800 mini computers, the G3 or higher machines make great CNC pc's and they are very inexpensive to buy on eBay or CL.
