AcornSix Enable

Post by kman1967 »

Acorn Six enable output on H13 and H14...

1. Is it only 5V or capable of 24V as well
2. Is it sinking or sourcing?

Update...

Page 40 of the AcornSix Install Manual rev12 shows +5v to the enable + and the enable - going to the H13 and H14 connectors.
but diagram for a Leadshine CS-D1008 show the enable out from the Acorn going to the enb+ on the drive and enable - on the drive going to grnd.

Not sure how the output can be sourcing and sinking, but OK, I'll wire like that and see what happens.

See page 81 of the AcornSix install manual for a description of the outputs.
Headers H13 and H14 are 5V logic outputs (High = +5VDC , Low= 0V/GND).
Headers H1, H2, and H3 are open collector outputs (sinking).
