Ok, So I do have the maintain offset library selected. That is how I want to set it up. Still no initialize button. Also I noticed that once I entered all 15 tool bit coordinates and saved them, when I go back into that wizard page they are all gone. Is that normal.

Set parameter 160 = 1, currently the wizard does not properly set this parameter in this case. (Already fixed for next release v5.02)

As for the coordinates, it should be saved, if not then is there something preventing the wizard writing to files for an example like an anti virus program? The ATC positions you entered should be saved to a file in cncm directory. Checking it on my system, it does appear to save correctly.

This version of the wizard atc menu is very buggy. Things just aren't working correctly. I tried the par 160=1 doesn't save but after that I get the Initialize ATC button but then as another user said I get the carousel setup when rack is selected. I even overwrote the mfunc6 macro with the newer one from yesterday. For now I just went back to 4.82 which works perfectly. I will just wait for another updated release.

Thank you

Bill,

hello.
i wish any issues with the new ATC menu in v5.0 would have come out in the extensive beta test period we held, thankfully they are relatively easy corrections which we are working on right now and will soon have a v5.01 beta available, would you like to try it out? We can remote into your machine with you and go thru it together to flush out any misunderstandings or issues quickly. PM me if you are interested. thanks, Keith

V5 final now running on my machines, no problems so far.
Installation was smooth as silk ;)

But I am wondering why lathe is not featuring the latest M51 macro from Chris, because this is working perfectly.

Would there be any issue arising if we revert settings back to normal after installation?
I am from Germany. My first use of US keyboard was with Acorn PC, but now I even got my new CAM Workstation with US keyboard :D

For me US is more convenient when writing programs ;)

Reinstalled V4.2 Dem0 on my new Win11 Workstation to make sure this runs, and yes no problems here.
