TB309 tells how to change this. Which part of TB309 was not clear?
Cheers,

In this post I showed in a video that switching to US is not possible.
Only German is available for me. But see for yourself how I'm trying to switch. The video is in conversation with Julien Méklis.
I don't know how to switch to US if none is available on my PC.
Thanks

switching to US is not possible on my PC because the language is not available on my PC
I showed this in a video (Centroid Acorn - (Unofficial) on Facebook that the language is not available for me.

You should still have "Regional Settings" within Control Panel in your German version. Or you could try entering CPL in your search box (bottom left of screen to right of Windows start) which brings up the old Windows 7 Control Panel (on English versions at least).
Hope this helps

Thank you for pointing this out. My pc needed a language update which I had to look for. 2 hours later....
Now my keyboard doesn't work properly. Now the key for Y is a Z key and vice versa.
thanks for the great update.
I needed something like that.

But ok let's see what's new and what's really good.
I tried the Y axis directly and it finally works. It's really great.
Fantastically cool.

Then let's look at the first picture. There are little buttons for radius or drill.....the idea is good
but facing and radius don't work.

Picture 2 shows when Jog is active. The color is so light on my PC that it is difficult to read.

Picture 3 and 4 show the tool being measured.
the picture and the color is too cluttered.
someone who is a beginner will not understand what that means.
if you want to calibrate a tool, then half the image also disappears.
The next problem is when you want to calibrate a tool with the tool setter, you could always
go to it with the keyboard and then have it measured automatically.
Now I have to deactivate alt jog and activate it again only then can I drive the tool back to the probe.
Or I always have to leave the table, then move the tool to the probe and then go back to the tool table.

Picture 5 shows feed rate.
25 50 75% cool
no more pressing the plus and negative button until the mouse breaks.
But why can't you go up to 200% anymore?

There are bound to be more bugs......All of this combined does more harm than good to Centroid.
This version is worse than V4.8 so I switch back.
I recommend every beginner to give V4.8 and to improve a lot on V5.04.
Didn't Uwe see it all?
Best wishes Stephan

I have been away for awhile and am just getting back to using my CNC. I saw there have been a couple of updates to CNC 12 since I last used it. I installed it on my computer and I see that there is a router version as opposed to just using the mill version before. I chose the router since my machine is a router. I had previously purchased the MPG and license and now my license is not being accepted because it does not match CNC type. It requires a router CNC 12 license.

What do I lose loading CNC12 as mill instead of router? I have an ATC and was excited to see that it is now in Wizard to set up because my setup has now changed and my old macro needs to be rewritten. I would much prefer to use the Wizard to set it up now. Does the mill version have the same set up? I really want to be able to use the MPG again so am trying to find out if I should be purchasing a new license to use the router version or whether the mill will still work for me and have the ATC setup.

I haven't found the section that explains the differences yet. I really need to get back on here and relearn where everything is located again.

there are posts explaining the difference between Mill and Router CNC12. here is one
https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=5560

super basic explanation.
mill and router are same. the provided mill and router vcp and macros are different. but there is nothing stoping you from copy a mill macro or vcp button into the router cnc12 and vise verse.

go ahead and load up both of them and check them out yourself, you can have both on the same PC and switch between them just by renaming the cncm directory.

I'm seeing an issue with aux key 13 and 14 with a default install and config of V5.04 Router. First off, in the default VCP button layout, there's no button for goto machine coord, why would that not be in the default button set? Anyway, after enabling the goto machine coord button in the skin file (replacing the default laser on/off button) and assigning mfunc47.mac (the default macro), the button does nothing. The same thing occurs with aux key 13, where anything that is assigned to it does nothing.

These two buttons work as expected in versions lower than 5.04. As stated, this is with a stock 5.04 router install with the only change being adding the goto machine coord button back to the VCP. I've check everything I can think of looking for conflicts, from aux key button xml conflicts, params, wizard aux key settings etc. and can't figure out what's up with it. 13 and 14 just seem dead.

How's that new VCP editor coming along?
