Probe , Setup , Boss

Probe is setup both in cal for set up and probe app . Both internal and external calibrations have been accomplished. with .0002 tolerance in bore ring gage. The issue now is when on the part setup boss screen . Boss diameter input dialog box (yellow set at 1.00 inch) is not selectable. Diameter of boss is not possible.Machine is homed.
When using probe app to measure boss diameter input is possible (set at 2.215in) from left side travels left .Opposite of what was expected. So i set it up on right side of boss.Touches off , goes to clearance , then only moves 1 inch ( ready to crash the probe) cycle stop.

KP3 Probe works now in Probe App and In Part set up (if diameter is under 1 inch).
with a stall every so often had to hit cycle start to urge the probing to from stalled line in script.
Has anyone had the same issue with diameters not selectable ?
I checked in the wizard to see what probe distance was. Set at 6.5"
My oversight for the opposite probe direction. X Axis was checked "reverse dir" in wizard.

Looking at your report file, your CNC12 Machine Parameter 16, Probing Search Distance, is set to 1.1", that means you can't probe anything that's wider than 1.1". Anything more than 1.1" will produce a Probing Search Limit exceeded error.

Also if you select the left side (X- side) for probing and the touch probe travels in the X- direction instead of the X+ direction, you definitely have your axis directions setup the wrong way.

I have no idea why CNC12 does not let you change the boss diameter. There might be something corrupted in your setup. The ProbeApp uses its own probing cycles and does not have any impact on the CNC12 built in probing cycles.
