HowTo Loss of Vacuum causes tool check event.

Post by SkyMoCo »

I use vacuum table to hold down large sheets while I mill them. Right now I have a DP2-40E Vacuum sensor mounted on the wall that triggers a visual alarm when I loose vacuum. What I would like to do, is trigger a tool height check event (I want to pause and lift the tool so I can check and see why I lost vacuum, but I don't want to stop the job as generally I can fix it with tape or whatever.

Any hints on how to do this? I can trigger an input easy enough, but I don't see how I can trigger an tool check event.

Would I use the M55 (mfunc55.mac) macro triggered by one of the inputs and then use the tool check macro code as a start?

tool check is a standard canned input in the Wizard. drag it to the input you want to wire it up to. easy peasy.

documentation always lags software development.

But it is documented here.
