Sorry no problems....

Post by suntravel »

my cheap little mill runs without problems, Acorn and 4.99 beta software.

16h shift with 6000rpm, only short stops for changing work-pieces and still running perfectly

Will not get higher than 45°C, original only build for 2250 rpm

Can not complain about reliability with Acorn running short vector 4 Axis stuff day in day out ;)

I am making a series of knife handles from high compressed wood.

Ready to use after 4-axis milling, only the butt need to be cut off.

Needs 40 min with 6000rpm, would be faster with a high speed spindle.

No there are no chemicals in the wood, it is cooked, and then with very high pressure reduced to 1/3 of its volume.

High strength, foodsave and a even higher price tag :D
