When I turned my mill on and attempted to home the axis the screen showed things were moving, but the steppers did not engage. I tried restarting both the control box and the PC got the same result. When I tried to move the axis from the VCP I was getting simultaneous rough movements from X, Y and Z. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything of this sort? I will look into the control box today and see if anything looks out of whack, but the mill had been working fine last weekend. Attached is a report file.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Did you bench test with one drive and motor to verify that your connection method worked?
Assuming stepper motors, are you connected to the DB25 header?

I am back up and running for the moment, I looked in the control box and found the ethernet cable was badly kinked, replaced it, and now it seems to be functioning properly. Fingers crossed it was that simple.

Not likely the Ethernet cable. More likely a poor connection
As I suggested in Facebook disconnect all axis but one and test. Check all your connections. PLEASE post pictures of your control cabinet so we can see what you are working with

Re: Mill will not home and erattic behavior from all axis
I did run through all the connections while I had it apart, tightened everything, and inspected solder joints. I didn't take any pics before closing it up. If the problem returns, I will get plenty of pics and pull out what little hair I have.
