Hi all! I'm running into an issue... I've done a pretty extensive VCP reorganizing and things have gone fine up to the point where I am trying to assign one of my last macros to a skin event in the Acorn Wizard.
When I try to change Skin event 18 to M77 (a custom macro that I made) the setting never takes and always reverts back to whatever it was set at before.
I've tried closing and re-opening the wizard, CNC 12, restarting the computer etc and it still does this.
Has anyone else run into this?
I'm running Acorn 4.80 right now. Report attached.

Have you selected custom VCP in the wizard?

Re: Problem Saving VCP Aux Key Setting
I'm not sure why it's not staying set in the wizard, but I can force it by changing parameter 197 to 7711 and it stays between restarts.
Might want to edit the header of mfunc77 to show 77 instead of 58 when single stepping into it. Had me confused for a bit.
Tested with the same version.

That seemed to work. I guess something in the wizard isn't writing that setting correctly...
I didn't know you could change those values manually like that.

Re: Problem Saving VCP Aux Key Setting
They may be a bit of a holdover from the old VCP, as they are only 1-12, and depending on if you have moved some around, they may not directly relate. The one I changed just happened to relate to your mfunc77/mfunc55 issue.
Looking forward to the proposed screen builder. If you start moving some around and out of the 4x4 field, it gets hard to keep track of them when you add another in it's place.

They're a holdover from the wired operators panel used on the servo controllers, and covered in the mill and lathe operator's manuals.
Cheers,
