Acorn Controller for Denford MRC 40 with Rotary Axis

Good Evening,
Has anyone had any experience retrofitting a denford MRC 40 with an acorn controller? It seems like a solid machine just the software and posts are a nightmare. Any help would be greatly appreciated

looks like it would be pretty simple one to upgrade with an Acorn.
