Hello,
As I am learning to use Intercon, I was hoping if there is tutorial on how to do threading on mill with intercon ? Keith's part tutorial was very helpful in learning.
Thank you.

Tapping or helical thread milling?
Cheers,
Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Threading using endmills in the mill rather than a tap. Hope this make sense
Thank you for your help.

Re: Threading via Intercon
For thread milling, you must use threadmills.
This is Intercon for a single point threadmill, pretty simple to dial in.

Re: Threading via Intercon
Most of the thread mill manufacturers have a web page showing suggested feeds and speeds for their threadmills.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... 6mequNIj1I
Because this is circular motion, actual feeds are much faster than linear feed rates so you need to adjust feedrates accordingly.
