Hey Y’all! Greetings from the U.K.
I currently have a Denford 3Axis CNC Mill running Acorn. This Mill is unfortunately Mechanically beyond repair.
I have a Hardinge HXL CNC Lathe that I’m
Hoping to retrofit using the Acorn system from the Mill. Now where I’m stumped is if possible I want to use the Spindle Motor already fitted to the Lathe, from what I can see it is a Braked DC Motor. My mill is using I’m assuming a small AC Motor and VFD Setup.
Some advice on this will be greatly appreciated! The Acorn mill I bought rather than built so it’s a big learning curve for me
