Re: acorn with an old shopbot
The power supply has two outputs, +5VDC and +24VDC. Disconnect everything from the power supply except L, N, and Ground. What is the 5V output reading? What is the 24V output reading?
Cheers,
Tom

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Did you try to adjust the voltage? There is a white adjusting knob in it.

Re: acorn with an old shopbot
If you have everything else still disconnected, I would go through and verify all the connections with a multimeter. That should catch a potential wiring mistake that may have killed the MeanWell and at the very least give some peace of mind. It is also possible it was an uncommon random failure.

Re: acorn with an old shopbot
I did redo all the connections I actually think the power supply was a little on the weak side as so of the problems I had ongoing are now cleared up. Such as not always starting up and the limits not always working.
