Ok I am getting it now when I use the desktop for the Z it only goes up if I press the up arrow it goes up and if I press the down arrow it goes up. I didn't realize that when I was bench testing it. I haven't set up my limit switches yet either.

Got it figured out it was a bad direction wire.

Ok I finally got the correct values in and ran an air test surfacing file on the Shopbot. It ran just fine. next onto wiring up the proximity switches that I have I am not sure what the voltage is for them they are the ones that the PRS has also not exactly sure where to hook them up on my board. then the zero plate hook up. I told you I had a lot of questions

If they're the rectangular black ones that were used on the PRT's, the wires are likely red(+24), black(Input), and green(Gnd). Barrel type on the PRS's, brown(+24), black(Input), and blue(Gnd). As far as I know, all were NPN NC type.

+1 to Scott's wiring info for the PRS sensors. That said, there are some from the early PRS that do not work. Be wary of the ones with an integral wire, those with a 3 pin connector are all good.

Also, the PRT switches are NPN-NO

Some pics attached for OP & others. The the illusive 'integral wire' prox switches used on PRS Shopbots for about 2 years (circa 2007-2008 IIRC); The PRT style black square prox switches & OEM instructions; & a 12mm threaded 'El Cheapo' proxy switch from Amazon I've had good results with.

Just an update I had to put this project on hold as I am waiting for some parts and have to baby sit my grand son. I will let you know when I get started again.

well I got some parts and am about ready to hook up my zero plate I just need to know what connections I need. I think everything else is ready to go. What I am doing is making it so I can go back to my old controller if I need to. I bought connectors to just plug in either controller and just change the VFD settings
