Ive got a cnc mill and lathe I have converted to centroid. I’d love to turn a Cincinnati Cutter grinder to cnc for a production job I do on my Manuel grinder. It’s really basic i use a cBn wheel to take .010” off the diameter. It would be a really simple machine. I need to control the Grinding wheel rpm, work holding rpm, coolant, 2 axis z and x(like a lathe). I could handle wheel dressing and not too much worried about wheel break down. Anyone ever converted a cylindrical grinder. I’d would like to add a 3rd axes for work head degree if I ever wanted to grind a taper. Anyone willing to talk over the phone about really need to figure out a parts list and what I should do. Thank

It would just be a lathe with a tool post grinder and C axis minus the grinder RPM.
I would just run a vfd or variable DC power supply and adjust the grinder RPM manually.

What size servos would you run, I would like the machine to rapid faster than steppers. Any recommendations on servo brand or kits.
